Bard the Bowman

Bard is a bargeman from lake town who provides a home for the dwarves, but when he finds out they are part of a great prophecy, he doesn't want anything to do with them. But Bard will also be the slayer of Smaug in the third part of the hobbit trilogy, and will soon be one of the rulers of lake town.

Although bard is a very resilient man he did not rebuild the town of dale where he once lived along with all the other men of lake town.
